Dumb Marketing Department: Brita has a commercial out showing a glass of unfiltered water on a counter. Off-camera, someone flushes the toilet, and the water in the glass imitates water in a flushed toilet bowl. The point they're trying to make is that the water in the tap you use for drinking water comes from the same water source as the water in your toilet. So what? The analogy doesn't work. It doesn't even come close. There's no connection at all, unless you're in the habit of routinely pissing in your drinking glasses.
