Are you shitting me?

"Alberta will soon have a museum filled with "scientific evidence" that the flood in the Book of Genesis and other biblical events actually happened, and that people walked the Earth at the same time as dinosaurs."

Should maybe sue his ass off the minute he opens his doors over false advertising.

"Nibourg, a 46-year-old oilfield service worker, has been planning, building and preparing the museum for four years.
He put his own money and sweat into the facility, building it himself with no public funding, although he did get a few private donations.
"We're not trying to push an agenda," he said Wednesday."

No agenda, eh? He must think we're really stupid. Then again, considering his usual target audience....

"We just think that people should see both sides of everything."

He's either an imbecil or an incredibly arrogant prick. There's more than two sides to the question of Creation. I'm doubting he'll be putting forth any of the equally "scientific" facts from Native American folklore. He'll probably completely ignore the Norsemen's take on it, too.

Christopher Hitchens with Anderson Cooper.

On Jerry Falwell: "The empty life of this ugly little charlatan proves only one thing: that you can get away with the most extraordinary offenses to morality and to truth in this country if you will just get yourself called Reverend."

Don't be shy, Chris. Tell us what you really think. (but yeah, you're right, of course)

Norris gets Chucked

Getting your ass kicked isn't just a Kirk Cameron thing. Seems any celebrity is free to make an ass of themselves these days...

One Blogger's refutation of painful drivel spouted from Norris:

More Norris Nonsense

Jesus tap-dancing Christ, Chuck! Stick to acting!

At least you only kinda sucked at that.

The world is a little brighter now...

After pissing god off over an undisclosed issue, Falwell was finally struck dead after years of being a self-described "tool of God".

He was only half right.

"Jerry Falwell was instrumental in galvanizing millions of American evangelicals into an intolerant, sectarian and authoritarian political movement. Gays, women, secularists, civil-libertarians and other groups who did not fit into his plan to construct 'One Nation Under God' were stigmatized and attacked. Civil liberties were in jeopardy." ~ Ellen Johnson, president of American Atheists.

Yep. Good riddiance, asshole.

Gee, didn't see that coming.

It's about time...

Pastor held responsible for faith healing gone wrong (as if they ever go right).

Darlene Bishop Sued for Wrongful Death and Financial Improprieties

This is great, and I hope it's a sign of things to come. It's about time that we start holding scam artists like faith healers responsible for the damage they do. Criminals should be treated as such, regardless of their self-imposed titles.

Granted, this evil twat went above and beyond the call of flim-flam, but the more attention and exposure such stories get, the more informed and protected society will become.
